Depending on the Hindu lunar calendar, Ganesh Chaturthi often happens in the months of August or September. The event lasts for ten days, with Mumbai in the Indian state of Maharashtra hosting the biggest celebrations. However, it is celebrated across the nation with the same fervor and dedication.
